Shana Dahan

Group Benefits Broker

A lifelong resident of Las Vegas, Shana Dahan serves as group benefits broker and marketing coordinator for Orgill/Singer & Associates. A member of the award-winning insurance brokerage since 2002, Dahan is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, negotiating and selling new life and health benefits accounts. Her marketing duties include the coordination of all advertising, public relations and marketing efforts for Orgill/Singer.

Dahan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has earned a degree of Master in Business Administration in June of 2009. An advocate for healthcare education for businesses and individuals, Dahan is responsible for marketing focus on Orgill/Singer’s core message of bringing a Tradition of Caring to its clients and the industry. In honor of her accomplishments, Dahan was awarded the 2008 Young Athena Award from the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and was inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame in 2009.

To further her commitment to health care issues and awareness, Dahan recently joined the board of The American Heart Association. Demonstrating the creative thinking she has become known for, Dahan is the mastermind behind “Move for Your Heart,” a Health and Fitness Expo and Dance Competition designed to entice more young adults to take an active role in their heart health and stopping the prevalence of childhood obesity in Nevada. Based on the latest “America’s Best Dance Crew” craze and targeted to the 12- to 24-year-old age group, the first “Move for Your Heart” will be coming soon to the Southern Nevada Community.

In addition to her work with many charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Dahan, along with her father, David, and sister, Michelle, established the Yaffa Dahan Nursing Foundation at UNLV in honor of her late mother. The foundation’s goal is to promote continued education for individuals who wish to pursue a career in the nursing field, her mother’s chosen profession. Founded in 2007, it has awarded four Yaffa Dahan Nursing Dissertation Awards to aspiring nurses.
